Limerick Kerry Charity Cycle 2012
The LK Charity Cycle 2012 will take place on Sunday, April 29th. The beneficiaries of this leisure cycle are the Brothers of Charity Services, Listowel and the Brothers of Charity Services, Newcastle West.

The Routes

Once again, cyclists will be offered the choice of two routes:
The Coastal Route (115km): Athea to Shanagolden, Loghill, Glin, Tarbert, Ballylongford, Asdee, Beal, Ballybunion, Lisselton, Listowel, Duagh, Abbeyfeale and returning to Athea.
The Athea Loop (62km): Athea to Shanagolden, Loghill, Glin, Tarbert, Moyvane and returning to Athea.

Registration and Sign On

Participating cyclists may register and sign on at the Con Colbert Memorial Hall, Athea between 9.30 am and 10.45 am. Cyclists will depart Athea at 11.00 am sharp. Cyclists may register prior to the event via this website. The closing date for online registration is Friday, April 27th.

Registration Fee / Donation

Participating cyclists are invited to contribute €30. There is no sponsorship card for this event. Cyclists may pay on the morning of the cycle at registration / sign on. Cyclists who wish to pay prior the event may phone 087 6764317 for further details.

Brothers of Charity Services

Listowel
The Brothers of Charity Southern Services is a major voluntary organisation, which provides age related residential, educational and day services for people with intellectual disabilities, autism and communication disorders throughout the Cork and Kerry area.
Brothers of Charity Early Intervention Services, Listowel are situated at 5 Hollytree Drive. The aim of our services is to provide support to parents and families of children with an intellectual disability from birth to six years of age. This service aims to maximise the child’s full potential by providing therapy and intervention. This service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team to children and families in Listowel and the North Kerry catchment area.

Newcastlewest
The Brothers of Charity Services, Newcastle West provide day and residential services for adults with an Intellectual Disability in West Limerick.
It aims to create an environment for people with Intellectual Disability which, recognising each individuals needs and abilities, will help all the people in the service community to realise their full potential to become contented independent members of society.
It offers people a varied range of programmes and activities which include Information Technology, Gym Activities, Walking Club, Arts and Crafts, Supported Employment, Work Activities, Numeracy and Literacy Training, Social Skills Training, Catering and Horticulture.
